A kind friend from Utah mailed me a gift card and coin ❤️
My thoughtful, kind and dear friend sent me this coin back in December. It brightened my day during an extremely difficult time, mourning the loss of my mother-in-law. It was 6 months after her passing and would be her first Christmas in heaven. I held on to the coin with the mission to do one RAK each month until June, in honor of my mother-in-law.
This coin has accompanied me each month on RAK missions! All with notes of hope left for recipients:
-Christmas treats to random strangers with notes of hope.
-caroling at local senior centers
during the holidays with cards of hope.
-feminine hygiene and beauty product bag made for local teens with notes of hope.
-5 dozen Easter baskets made for local seniors with notes of love & hope.
-clothing bags made and donated to a local foster organization for immediate needs
-and TODAY: We started at a Chik-Fil-A drive thru where we bought chocolate chip cookies in support of their giving campaign for the Boise Rescue Mission & sent cookies to strangers behind us in the car line. We then drove to Starbucks and bought the gentleman behind us his drink and asked the barista to hand him his note of hope and hope coin.
THIS COIN has given ME so much hope and joy and I hope that it continues. Thank you to my dear friend Monet for the love and thoughtfulness AND for the inspiration to serve love & joy!!!

I’ve been trying to figure out what kind of kind act I wanted to do. My boyfriend knew this and came home with a bunch of Togo’s sandwiches. We tried driving around looking for homeless people who could really use a meal. We did a few attempts and ended up going to the Orange County rescue mission. We both are Christian and we’re so happy that we got to bring it to this rescue mission that helps give families a fresh new beginning.

I overheard a conversation between a woman working in the local convenient store and her friend who was hanging out in the store. The cashier was saying how she always seems to get hungry around 2 p.m. but doesn’t get off work for another couple hours following that. I was going to pick up pizza anyway, so I got some extra slices and returned to the store. I told her to pick the piece she wanted. She had her first piece of Sicilian pizza after going, “Oh, what’s that one?!”
It was a fun experience.

I got this hope coin as a Christmas present from an aunt of mine. Instead of just doing a kind act and passing it on, I wanted to do more than that. I want it to be a chain of advice that one missionary gives to another missionary right before he leaves on his mission, then have the missionary who received the coin do the same. Before giving the coin to someone, you should pray and ask Heavenly Father who would need the coin. This coin should change good missionaries into great missionaries. I have great faith that it will change individuals lives and missions.
Elder Jones, I wanted to share some personal lessons I have learned on my mission that took me several months to learn. I hope that you don't have to spend the time learning the difficult lessons I had to learn.
Elder Jones, the Lord has great things in store for you. He has let me catch a glimpse of what those things could be. You are the only one holding yourself back, so what if you haven't tried at anything before and coasted through life. Who cares what other people think, if they think you can't become a leader or a great missionary prove them wrong. This coming transfer you will have the chance to decide what kind of missionary you want to be. It's not easy to be a hard working diligent missionary but the blessing are worth it. If you work your hardest there will come a time after your mission that you wish you could relive any day as a missionary. Even your worst. Find out what your “why” is then chase after it. You are going to change so many lives but only if you change yours first. I sense that your last interview with President humbled you a little bit, don't let it discourage you. Let it be the spark that ignites the flame. I love you so much, you have been in my prayers constantly. I have felt inspired to give you this coin, after you have served as diligently as you can…pass your advice along to someone else. Once again, I love and pray for you. I am always in your corner. Please reach out if you ever need anything.

I really had fun today. I planned a surprise hands for hope mission for someone I inspire to be more like. The person who's name I shall not list pretty much has it all. This person has paid me several kindness' and I thought to myself. What comes around should go around and that should start with me.I truly hope I surprised this person today and he just smiles when he eats that Brazilian Chocolate cone. The other day I posted a very vulnerable post on Facebook. It was about Adults coping with early year child abuse and being an adult child of an alcoholic. I posted it because my intuition, my inner voice told me to. The next day my phone rang. It was an acquaintance that really needed a friend. She was overwhelmed by the isolation and had an event that changed her life.
The tears started to come. Ana couldn't really drive any more. Had 2 surgeries from an auto accident. I told Ana I am a Hope Warrior and I will be over Thursday at 1 pm. I brought her a New U Life mask. A bottle of Fortress, 2 NueraVie samples and Gel'd her up. I let her know I was all ears today. I took her to the beach and got her out of the house. I taught her how to breath with the intent of getting through her panic attacks that were the result of PTSD. I offered to take her grocery shopping to. It really felt good to help someone today. I believe a frienship was forged. I explained the Chip and asked that she pay it forward. #0001618

There is a home for victims of human trafficking where the residents spend time being rehabilitated back into society with job skills, life skills and building back their spirits. I received several pairs of beautiful handmade earrings from a friend and she said you know someone you could give these to. At that moment I didn't have any idea what I would do with them but the idea occured to me to make a Valentine's treat bag for these ladies. My 3 year old grandson shopped with me and helped to put the bags together. Their resident director met me yesterday to pick them up. I felt such a sense of love to give to 7 people who did not expect the gift and will not be able to return to me. I hope this gift will encourage them in their journey to recovery.

This guy walks to the grocery store every day. Most times, he just has a bag or two but he always is holding his pants while carrying his groceries. Today, he stopped in front of my house. He put his groceries down and also had a case of soda this time. He had to pick his pants up. He then grabbed the groceries minus the case of soda and decided to split his load in two, taking each load 25ft ahead, one at a time. As he came back to grab the soda, he carried it off and it was leaking all the way to the groceries he had already carried ahead. I ran out and asked if I could give him something. I gave him one of my rolling carts and told him to use it from now on to go grocery shopping. Then I gave him the coin and told him to pay it forward to someone else who needs help.

I wrote a letter of thanks to my cousin Lenia for doing good deeds for my mom and dad. I don’t live in the same town as my parents so it’s difficult for me to help them out as often as i would like to in person due to the distances between us as well as the Covid concerns. My Dad isn’t in the best of health so its a risk for family members to visit my parents home often. Lenia my cousin is close by and she always checks with my parents to see if they need any thing from the grocery store or anything at all! She has went many times to the stores to get things and bring those things to them as they need them. I can’t afford much to show my appreciation due to our budget but I wrote her check for $30 for her to enjoy. It‘s not much but it’s something! I also included a Hands For Hope coin and I feel that is even more meaningful than any amount of money that a person could receive!
It is with honor to pass this coin along to her to show just how much I appreciate her doing good things for my parents and that I love her and I thank her for all that she does!
From school Hope campaign.
I thanked my dad for being my dad.
Got it from school.

This is not something I would have posted or talked about because it was done out of love which meant it needed no recognition. That being said my act of kindness was to help my best friend keep her best friend (her beautiful Trixie) alive and well. I have not always been able to do things like this, I’ve been in the position where I’ve had to make really tough decisions and now that I’ve been abundantly blessed it’s time to bless others. That does not always mean with money, there are so many ways to be a hope warrior and I am ho ores to be among all of them.
My best friend posted:
I feel it’s important to share this story and worth the read. I’m a very private person and don’t share my business, but this needs to be known. If you follow my page, you know that my dog Trixie is the absolute love of my life. She has been with me through the best and worst times of my life and I can’t imagine my life without her. This past Monday at 4p she fell down my stairs from the top step. She had lost her balance and went down the entire flight and hit every step until she fell to the bottom and hit head against the baseboard. She was stiff as a nail and went into shock. I immediately took her to an after hours ER and they told me she is paralyzed and if I didn’t have $8k for a surgery, then I should put her down. Needless to say I was inconsolable. This didn’t make sense to me though because her tail was wagging. I made some calls and Tufts University was understaffed and could not take her. I found an outstanding critical care hospital about an hour and a half away. They took her right away and after examining her they said she is not paralyzed, but there could be brain swelling or some sort of disc injury and she needs an MRI. Not being able to afford this visit of $5k because I’ve been out of work for almost a year, I had no choice but to put a deposit down on my credit card. Luckily she didn’t need surgery, but a major course of steroids and lots of time until she can walk again. When Trixie was discharged two days later, I was so excited to get my girl home and rehab her to be able to walk again, but so panicked about the large balance I knew was due. When they brought her out to me, I thanked them so much for their 5 star ⭐️ service and treatment and asked what I owe. They said your balance has been paid by your friend Danelle Verzaro (Rich) and you are all set. In total shock, I started to cry... I’m crying right now while I write this. But wait, there’s more. On my way home, I get a notification that Danelle has sent me a Venmo deposit for the original deposit. She paid Trixie‘s hospital bill so I didn’t have to worry about anything else except to get Trixie back to walking. The NUL company has given people the opportunity to be in a comfortable financial position to do good things and help people who need it. Although I would NEVER ask for help and she knew it, she did it anyway. So Danelle is not only my best friend, she is my Hope Warrior. My gratitude and appreciation runs deep. This is love and friendship at its finest. 🙏♥️. I’m including some picks of my sweet girl recovering. Thanks for taking the time to read this. G-d is good. Danelle, I love you so much. Thank you again. 🙏♥️♥️

One of our leaders Chris, suggested that we connect with someone on the street we live in and share a small token, a coin, and let them know that they were highly regarded by people on the street/in the area. I decided to go outside my neighborhood. I had to deliver something to my sons house today. I always have a “Bag of Hope” with me these days if the opportunity to give one out is presented. I remembered this special young lady, named Katherine who lives on a street in his neighborhood. I dropped a bag of Hope off in her mailbox. It had a coin, a piece of chocolate and a note. I let her know that when I think of her I think of kindness and hope. I explained the company I work with started a kindness/hope movement and to pass it along.
It was a gift from my affiliation with New U Life. Thank you !!!

The story of my friend with Parkinson's disease continues... when we visited with him a few weeks ago we noticed that he had limited furniture. He spends every day in his living room with just a recliner, desk and chair. The recliner had definitely seen better days and was too often getting stuck.
Well, the recliner has broken completely and is tilted to one side. This means he only has his desk chair to sit in.
My heart broke for him when I found out and I KNEW I was going to find him a replacement! I called friends and family but had no luck.
And then today I received a Nextdoor notification (I often delete these without reading them!) A local woman was moving and giving away her furniture immediately TODAY.
We picked it up, our friend is ecstatic and to top it off it has heat and massage!
I never lost faith that my prayers would be answered!
Neither of them wanted to be photographed but, needless to say, we are all grinning from ear to ear!
Life is great and a simple recliner is giving my friend safety and so much comfort!
I am a NewULife distibutor.
I have just begun my involvement with the amazing Kasia's Hope - a sober living home in Putnam, CT for women with substance abuse disorders. It is a long term program with the residents staying for months, up to a year or longer, or as needed. And it's the first in Northeast Connecticut at this time.
I feel that these women could use a personal cheerleader as they recover, regain their health and move forward with their lives.
I have delivered toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc. for each of the ladies and plan to continue to do so.
I've started a writing campaign and am sending these cards to them. My hope is that I can organize my friends to keep these cards coming on a regular basis!
I'm grateful for the blessings that I've been given so I want to share my hope, support and enthusiasm for life!
Most of all, though, I want them to know that they are NOT ALONE!
If substance abuse has touched your life in any way I encourage you to reach out and help someone that is suffering. You never know... you might save someone's life!

It's been cold and rainy where I live so I decided to bake and made some cupcakes. So that I wouldn't eat them all I took some and a card to my local hospital to give them to the nurses who are working so hard during this pandemic. While I wasn't allowed into the nurses station, the woman in reception assured me that she would take the cupcakes, card and Hope Coin into the break room for the nurses to enjoy and hopefully one of them will take the coin and pass it on as well! <3

I sent a box of clothing, vitamins and some candy to a young person who has been taking care of my parents. It has been hard for me not to be able to travel to be with them so Jorge has graciously offer his help to be with them. My heart is full of gratitude for people like Jorge with a big heart to help others.
I received package from NUL
My friend Bess was beside herself trying to figure out the Covid Vaccine application. I spent my lunch hour helping her muddle through the forms. We finally successfully completed it with 2 minutes to spare. Without my help poor Bessie would still be there. She is thrilled to pass along the good deed. :)
Over the past few years i have been taking care of my elderly parents and uncle. While managing their affairs I have needed many documents notarize. My friend Lynn is a notary and has alway made herself available to help me.
During one of these visits Lynn gave me a Hope Coin!

Realizing how many toys our four furkids have I decided to collect a bin full and wash them up to give to the #helptheanimals shelter in Richmond. Sharon was very thankful. It makes me so happy that these toys will be played with while the dogs await their forever homes .

Have you ever experienced something difficult in your life? Have you ever needed a helping hand? Have you ever needed someone to talk with that wouldn't judge you instead made you feel hopeful and at peace? My personal answers to those questions are yes, yes and yes! Every person has a story. Now I have a story for you.
I found out through a dear friend of mine that Rim City Church in Hamden, CT is reaching out to people within their community and helping them in many ways. People are in need of clothing, shoes, personal hygiene products, food, faithful counsel, ect. Of course it was placed on my heart to be a helping hand. I want to make a positive impact in as many lives as possible.
With that said I was on a mission. I reached out to my all of my family members, friends and some neighbors in my community. I explained to them that I was collecting clothing, shoes and personal hygiene products. Before I knew it my car was packed with bags of donate items.
That's when the fireworks of joy and excitement were going off in my soul! All of us came together to love, provide, sacrifice and bring hope to others. It was a wonderful blessing to deliver the donated items to Rim City Church. This is how one community provides for another community.
We all have gifts, talents and abilities. Prayers are answered. God has a good plan and purpose for all of us! These pictures are priceless! ♥️♥️♥️

My idea came as I was giving someone a facial double masked plus a shield on when it began to fog.... I began thinking about all the Doctors, Nurses, and anyone wearing full PPE gear for hours at a time and how hard it must be for them. I reached out to 3 Nurse friends working at 3 different hospitals and asked what little treat might make feel appreciated or give them a smile 😊 Bath bombs was one request so I reached out to my friend who has a local business to make the Donut Bombs 🍩 I made 19

Hello! I received my Hope Coins close to Christmas. At first I was not sure what I had ordered. To my surprise it was Hope Coins, Seven of them. :)
This is something I have done many times, but this time I told my friend Lydia to pass the kindness. Lydia is a 90 year old resident who was my mom's best friend. We became close after her surprise 80th birthday. She claims she was a top sales lady back in the day. She was convinced she could help me with my business posture. :) In the mean time she moved into Arista Health Care in Naperville IL. as a permanent resident. I have visited her many many times before. With Covid-19 I have only seen her twice. First time was outdoors when they allowed it. So this time I decided with Hands of Hope to show extra kindness and told her to help someone there, because at 90 she is mentally and physically in tip top shape. She said she would and was happy to help. I made it extra special today and brought her a new pillow. I also brought her two bags, one for her and one for the nursing staff. Hers had fruit, chocolates, and a small plant. The nurses got chocolates as well, a bouquet of flowers, and six $5 ea gift cards of Dunkin Dougnuts, Star Bucks, and McDonalds. It brought a lot of smiles to the nursing home and I left with a feeling of joy. Thank you Alexy, Thank you Chris and all who came up with this amazing way to spread kindness and joy. God Bless!! xo

I met a guy on Facebook named Tommy that has ALS. He is 58 years old. He told me that his wife left him when he was diagnosed with ALS and began to decline. He moved from Florida to Rhode Island to live near a cousin and ended up a few streets over from my home I brought him purified hydrogen water weekly and the gel to try to help him. Weeks went on and I was bringing him meals and doing some shopping for him. I brought him a Christmas present to cheer him up during the holiday. He told me that I was his guardian angel and no one had ever offered to help him. He didn’t have much time to live because his breathing was getting worse and his heart was weakening. He now has hospice and when he’s ready to die he requested for me to be by his side so he doesn’t die alone.
When he was six years old he was playing with friends and ended up drowning. He flatlined seeing a tunnel with a bright light and was surrounded by streams of blue light. It wasn’t his time to go so God sent him back. As he grew up he had become a pastor for a short time but due to his love for money and power he became wealthy owning several businesses. He feels because of his greed God took everything away from him including two businesses, both parents, siblings, his dog, his wife and was diagnosed with ALS. He began to just focus on his relationship with God and his heart had changed. He was told by God to help people and love them. He said after he dies he will come back as an archangel continuing to help people and always look after me. I have tears as I read this and I am forever grateful for meeting him.
Just recently I joined an overwhelmingly encouraging company called New U Life. I read about this opportunity and jump on the chance to share and spread hope. This is an am opportunity I have been given. Thanks to New U Life.☺️

I cooked a dinner meal for my friend Violette Mukasugira and her daughter. She is a single mom working 10-16 hours and doesn't have time to cook herself a nutritious meal. I cooked lamb meat balls soup, quinoa, and baked sweet potato, and took over to her apt while she was still at work. I felt so good of providing something that would give her a break and relief from her busy day. I also wanted her to know she is so loved and cared.

My husband Ray and I went to the Connecticut Draft Horse Rescue. We brought the horses treats and Ray did volunteer work. This is a nonprofit organization that's solely funded by donations. These beautiful horses are loved and cared for.♥️♥️♥️ Sadly some of the horses were abused and were rescued. Other horses could no longer be cared for by their owners and they were surrendered. There's always blessings because some of the horses get adopted. Big hugs and appreciation to all of the volunteers and people that make donations. All of the ICU nurses are required to work a number of shifts in the overflow COVID ICU. I offered to pick up a co-workers shifts when she found out she was pregnant so that she wouldn't have to risk exposure and wear the extensive PPE on the unit. I was really happy to relieve that burden for her so she could focus on her physical and mental health during the first part of her pregnancy. She was really grateful and I hope I can continue to do things to help my fellow nurses survive this pandemic.

We have a few widows who live near us. We were able share a little love with two ladies today. One in particular just had surgery and is always in a lot of pain! She loves to work in her yard but can't do that any longer. It was a joy baking some cookies and taking them to her. She does love to write notes to other people, so she was happy to get the hope coin to send to a friend. It is amazing how a little act of kindness can warm somebody else's heart as well as your own.

I decided to back track just a little to Christmas, days before my coins arrived…. because I know my dear friend MargI will give from her heart as well. Knowing that Margo had been doing a beautiful job bringing furniture pieces back to life; The Lord laid it on my heart to contact her out of the blue and ask her if there was a special project that she could use some paints for that I would like to gift to her? Delighted that she said “yes”🤗. She had an old jelly cabinet that was her mom’s that she wanted to redo for her daughter. ❤️ I gifted her with more than enough to do the project, plus enough to do something for a friend. In messaging this week…. it is Margi’s desire to have a project a week to supplement her retirement income. With the beautiful work she does on furniture and counter tops, I’m praying she will have more than enough coming in. I’m elated to be a part of the passing down of her family heirloom furniture piece. May her daughter enjoy it for years to come.

I sent a note to a woman who has left an indelible mark on our family. We have 7 adult children. All musical. Piano, violin, voice, guitar, harp, cello and flute have been instruments played by our family. Mrs. D. Was a music teacher who came to our home over many years and taught several of our children the violin. She created a local orchestra and has been an AMAZING influence in the lives of our family and on so many others! She is in her 80’s now…and has given her life to serving others.

She is in her lower 40s and stuck with it and just received her Global Business Bach degree from Troy University- Phoenix city, Al campus. I have always wanted to thank the teacher who took me under her wing when I did my student teaching over 40 years ago! I just never thought I could track her down. I found her on FB and was able to get her address. I was a scared young woman with no confidence when I walked into her classroom with a 5th grade class. She gently eased me in and taught me step by step how to navigate the responsibility of teaching from my heart. She helped me grow and gain confidence. I was not the same person at the end of that semester! It forever changed my view of what it meant to give my all for those students. I learned to love being a teacher from that experience, and I wanted her to know what an impact she had on my life and consequently all of my students for years to come! One person CAN change the course of your life. Marie did that for me!

My act of kindness was to affirm and recognize Eileen, an amazing person with a giving heart. I met Eileen in 2007 when I published my first children’s rhyming story picture book, “Tommie Turtle’s Secret”. Eileen invited me to share the book with her class for special needs children at an elementary school where she was a Teacher’s Assistant.
Eileen introduced me to several disabled children she was helping, and I learned that she also volunteered to help with the Special Olympics.
Currently, we were out of touch, but Eileen called and invited me to share my life’s story with a class for adults with special needs or disabilities, she was working with at a local technical college. She wanted me to be an example for the students that having a disability need not keep anyone from having a productive fulfilling life.
My Zoom visit with her class this week was uplifting to me to be back in the classroom again - having retired from teaching at the University of Hawaii for 24 years. :)
I just wrote a letter to Eileen to thank her for always working to help others be better. Of course I am giving her a Hope Coin, and inviting her to join us in the Hope Challenge by passing it forward.

I have stayed in touch with my neighbor Heather since we moved away 2 years ago and loved going shopping and seeing her once a week. Since the pandemic our weekly shopping trips and kind deeds had to stop. (My boys call her Aunty Heather and they would go pick up her Apple's that were on the ground or weed the garden. We also helped each other grocery shop.)
It's now quick porch visits through masks and screens and she does not leave the house since she takes care of her elderly mother. Whenever I can do anything for her I will. I was able to cut her hair last month and this month with the hope coin we dropped off some sweet treats, homemade banana bread and a card with encouragement. I am also planning to color her hair for there this week to help bring her some Joy ❤️

With this coin I put together a care package to bless an overwhelmed mom I know in another state. She recently connected with me and vented about her non supportive in-laws, the struggles with her kids and having an injured ankle. Her son is autistic and struggles with sensory processing so I found a weighted vest that he can use to help calm down. Her daughter has lots of allergies and was born durring the pandemic so I've been checking in a few times a week to see how she is doing. She told me she wanted to learn to cook and be more independent so I included 2 books that have a handwritten inspiring message in the cover to help motivate her that she can de anything. I also put a Tie Dye shirt I made in the box for her to have a little something cozy since I can't give her a hug all the way in Texas. I love this challenge and thinking outside the box to help bring a smile and show kindness to those around us!

I decided to teach my kids the importance of kindness and give them each a hope coin to give away. My 4 year old decided he wanted to give his to his grandma. His act of kindness was to be nice to his brothers, listen to Grandma, be kind and eat all his food ❤️ you have to love the Innocence of children.
I just wrote a letter to Eileen to recognize her for always working to help others be better. Of course I am giving her a Hope Coin, and inviting her to join us in the Hope Challenge by passing it forward.

I sent a Thank you Card to my friend in Texas who is a Nurse. Lynn has a huge heart for patients during this crisis, and she puts them right at ease. She also works tirelessly and she doesn’t have to. She doesn’t have to work, but she chooses to because she loves being a nurse.

I gave my hairstylist a monetary gift to cover the expense of hair services for one of her clients. She will give her the coin and pay it forward!

Stephanie, like many wait staff, has been facing challenges. I enjoyed a simple breakfast with a friend leaving a great tip. She said ‘It made her day!’ She & her mom do similar acts of kindness and will share the coin when they bless someone next. We hope to see our coin AND kindness travel the world!

My friend, Theresa, gives her all to love on the women needing a helping hand through Ruth's House shelter for women. A group of us ladies bring in a home cooked meal once a month and Theresa always makes sure that goes smoothly. I felt it was time to bless her so I took a homemade meal just for her this week as a thank you for all she does to make life better for women who have fallen on hard times.
I received the Hope Coin from NewULife.
The kind acts have been coming my way over the years from my sweet neighbor, Judy, so I wanted to bless her. But before I got to do something for her, she brought all kinds of otc items for our household since our son lost his job due to Covid and he, his wife and 3 children are living here with us. It's that season and she thought it might be helpful to have cold and flu remedies. So her's was the act of kindness and mine was a homemade meal for her and her husband as a thank you!
I received my coin from Tina at church, she said the 1st person she seen when she opened the church doors she was giving $ 20 to and they can do whatever they would like with . I am a greeter an she said my pretty red sweater caught her eye that day out of all 4 of us talking. However , I am going to find someone else who can use this instead of me.
As a New U Life Distributor, they provided us with the coins.
My friend, Gaela, mother of 3, including a 10 year old daughter, and two small grand babies was diagnosed in September with a brain tumor that was malignant. She's undergone surgery in October. She continues treatment plan with chemo and radiation. Since she had a seizure (which led to the diagnosis), she cannot drive until March. Myself and a few other friends have volunteered to take her to her 12 weeks of radiation treatments. This fine lady is one that always does for others, and I know passing the Hope coin to her would definitely be again passed along. Please pray for my friend, a believer, and I am truly Blessed to call her my friend!
Me and my husband are Newulife distributors and proud to be part of the hands for hope challenge. We each got 7 coins.
I was stuck at a light forever in Chicago today and watched so many people roll up their windows and ignore this poor homeless guy. I stopped traffic and called him over to my car. I gave him money I had to buy lunch with. He needed it more than me. He was nearly in tears when I took his pic with the hands for hope coin I gave him and told him to pay it forward! It felt really good!
I ordered them from New U Life. I think the program is fabulous!!
We all know COVID has affected so many lives, including Healthcare workers! Libby works long hours, and she always greets you with a smile. It's been tough the past year, and while she took my blood sample, she chatted with me. Realizing I craft, she ordered a Mug from me with the verse she liked from Proverbs 31:25, “She is clothed with Strength & Dignity and she Laughs without Fear of the Future”. Wow… so suited for these times we are in! When I went to deliver the mug today, she came out and was so grateful. I told her I Thank her for all she does, gave her the coin, and did not charge her for the mug. She was so appreciative, and said to another patient sitting there… wow…you just never know how nice people can be. Libby, you are the nice one….always kind, every time I see you at the doctors office.
I am a NUL distributor!

My cousin Amie presented me with this hope coin, and it brought me to tears! She praised me for coordinating a Thanksgiving meal for my local Veterans Transitional House and congratulated me for being ¾ of the way done with nursing school! Receiving this hope coin was a very uplifting and tender moment at a very needed moment in my life.
Tomorrow, I am going to deliver this hope coin to my dear friend, Ashley's doorstep and give her an orchid to go alongside it. Ashley is one of my greatest friends whom I've met in nursing school and the world is a better place because of her warm, gentle spirit. Cindy now lives in Beaufort South Carolina, we met when Gerry and Cindy lived in Sandwich when they applied to be a Host Family for the Bourne Braves during my time as Host coordinator. Cindy has an amazing talent for stained glass. One year when I was searching for a unique idea for a host gift I asked her would she make the gifts and we would pay her. Of course she said yes! I recently asked her to make me some stained glass gifts. She asked me to mail a check for payment so I shared the Hope with her and gave her a coin too. She’s very involved in their community and like her husband, I thought she would enjoy passing the coin.
My wife and I have been unemployed for some time. My sister gave us some money that helped us out greatly.
I fixed Justin's toilet so now he can use his toilet.

I'm a distributor at NUL. I received my coins in the mail. The woman that I gave the card and the plant to is a caregiver. Her husband is a veteran. He is bedridden and his wife Julie takes care of him 24/7 all by herself. I wanted Julie to know that she's not forgotten. Julie is loved, appreciated and a superhero that makes this world a better place. I unexpectedly pulled into Julie's driveway with the gift. She was outside with her dogs. When I got out of the car with the Orchid plant and card she said “ what are you doing?” I told her that I wanted to brighten her day. She started uncontrollably crying. Yes I had my mask on. I wrapped my arms around her and held her. I told Julie “ I'm here for you and I love you.” Julie said “ God's timing is right!” I got into my car and as I was leaving I started to cry. Julie brought me joy!!

It was a special honor to be trusted with this project!!!

Today I will be giving away my second coin in sharing my excitement of giving back to humanity. In honor of Andrea, a dear long time patient who was take away too soon fighting stage 4 breast cancer, I will be donating $800 to add to the $5200 donated to Unite for Her in honor of Dr Gonzales who has been fighting aggressive Stage 2 breast cancer since 2019/2020 and finally ringing the bell a few weeks ago. Unite for Her will provide 3 women a “passport to health” entailing $2000 each to use the funds to receive massage, reiki, acupuncture, & other alternative therapies which our insurance companies feel are passive treatments and not important to human lifestyle, even during the hardest fight of their life. As a wellness care provider, the services provided to our patient base and the payment collected for the exam & consult was 100% donated to make up this $6000 donation for hope to Unite for Her. Excited to share this opportunity to give back hope and encourage healing & love.

Yesterday I donated blood. While I don't know who specifically will receive my donation, I do know that there are dire shortages of blood, plasma and platelets especially during this pandemic. My nurse loved the idea of what we are doing and was delighted to pass on the Hope Coin I gave her. It was with great joy that I made this donation. I'm hoping I can go back next week to donate plasma.

My act of kindness is to thank and affirm my friend Ron.
Before the pandemic separation rules, Ron came each week to help me walk with my walker, and do exercises safely on the machines I have. Because of my disability and weakness, I needed someone to stand by and help to prevent falls.
We also enjoyed a game of chess.

I received it from a colleague when he did a kind deed by participating in a market research study for my new business.
I teach in a volunteer MA prison program. One of my team members was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I donated to a fund to buy food for his family. Then I went to Costco with a colleague to shop and deliver the food to his house. It felt great and it made him happy!
I received my coin from NewULife.
I know of a family who can always use additional food to feed their family of 5, of whom are 3 growing, active, and constantly hungry boys. Most recently, the whole family was ravaged by COVID. The boys have recovered, but the adults are left with trailing symptoms. As we all do, we ensure that our children have what they need at the expense of the parents. To help, today, I shared some food items from our pantry and our supplements on hand with them, in hopes to ease and hasten full recovery. At the end, I introduced the hope coin and explained how it works. It was well received. I was self conscious at first because, in my mind, acts of kindness need not be announced. Then, I thought, if the traveling hope coin can motivate others and generate a tumbleweed effect of acts of kindness, why not let the world know about it.
NewULife #UCarechallenge
Depression, loneliness, loss of jobs, suicide thoughts are real for many, especially during challenging testing times. When you feel everything can go wrong goes wrong. Loss of both jobs due to shut down from COVID, depression, not eating well, unintentionally loosing weight from stress, not working out, worries of life, health & finance, supplying food to live life, weakness and shutting people out is a situation of a dear friend who’s only 26. This morning I anonymously delivered some healthy proteins, fruits, carbs, shakes that will hopefully last her about a month to help her regain her strength and hope. As an added bonus, a few words of encouragement & $200 towards her rent while asking her to pass on the future of HOPE to another human being who might be just waiting for that hand to lead part of their path.
I was generously given thru my affiliation with New U Life.

I made a donation to our local Food Pantry, as it is hurting for food and donations. I could not physically give them coin so I passed it along to our neighbor.
Our neighbors across the street quickly became family to us. They are always doing kind acts, the shift in lifestyle (ie homeschool) has thrown a wrench 🔧 in their household. I thought a surprise of coloring books and some baked muffins will make them smile😊

Meet Rosa Velazquez. Rosa is a single Mother of 3 beautiful children. I have worked with Rosa for 3 years. She is always happy, has a smile on her face, and makes the most out of what she has. Throughout this pandemic I have watched her become a teacher for her kids, make sure they have the right tools for their zoom classes. She comes to work each day and jungles all her Mommy duties. She also helps her family when she can. I admire her .

The coin is on its way to Georgia to the Maloof family. Tyler lived with our family in 2011 while playing for the Bourne Braves, a Cape Cod League Team. The are one of the kindest, most generous families we have ever met and are blessed to call them family. They are always doing kind acts for people and I thought their daughter Jessa would love to be a part. Prior to sending the coin, I delivered a meal to an elderly women who lives alone.

My friend Terry and I went on a retreat about 12 years ago and we learned about the song shown in my photo, hold on to hope. That song impacted us both on many levels. In thinking about the “Hope” coin it brought me back to that song and Terry. We reunited today after years of not seeing each other inspired by the Hands of Hope program. I passed along the coin, a hand written note, some farm fresh eggs and we spent time together. Thank you New U Life and Flag For Hope♥️

My friend and neighbor, Terry, took off before Christmas with her two dogs to drive to her sister's home in Virginia. Once she arrived she was reunited with not only one but two of her sisters. They enjoyed their reunion by chatting and playing board games. The day after Christmas two of the sisters became seriously sick with Covid 19. The two have been sick for a week and finally are feeling somewhat better.
Terry loves feeding her birds. In Michigan we've had several inches of snow so the birds are looking for food. I purchased some birdseed today and took it over to her house to fill her bird feeders. I know this will make her feel better about being away from her home and help with the wildlife at the same time!

As soon as I learned about the Hands For Hope Challenge I was excited to make some differences in other people's lives. My first choice for a coin was easy.
An old friend and former guitarist from my band was stricken with Parkinson's disease at 50. I haven't seen him in years and he's now in his 60's, lives alone and suffers from chronic pain and tremors. Unfortunately, he has no immediate family to help him either.
My husband and I packed up a box of groceries, other necessities and presents and brought them to him. We spent the day talking, laughing and listening to old band music.
Our friend told us "I haven't had a birthday or other holidays this year, but what you've done has made this an unforgettable Christmas! I love you guys!"
I write this through tears of sadness because of the suffering of a wonderful man and also tears of gratitude for all of the blessings in my life!

My wife and I have been farming for 17 years now. My wife Chuad spent some time volunteering at the food bank and learned during that time that the food bank has a hard time receiving good local produce during the winter time to help feed those in need. Something we have been doing for a long time is making sure the food bank bins that volunteers bring to market are not left empty. Today when the volunteers came to pick up their bin they came and thanked us for the food donation and I thanked them for spending their time to make sure the food gets to where it needs to go. I handed one of them the hope coin I had in my pocket and said we need to continue to pass on the good deeds to others.
Received from NUL
I received my hope coin from my company, Newulife. The kind act I will record below was my first coin to give away.
My husband saw a young woman sitting out by the mailboxes in our neighborhood with a suitcase as he as leaving. He called me to go check on her. I put a hope coin in my pocket along with some money. As I approached her she was crying. She had been staying with friends who were fighting, so she did not feel safe. She had called her sister to come and get her. This young woman has had a very hard life. I told her about the hope challenge and gave her the coin and some money. Mainly I wanted her to know that I cared about her. She had been sitting outside for awhile, and I asked her if she was hungry. I walked home and made her a lunch. I waited with her for about an hour and a half before her sister finally picked her up. My heart breaks for this woman. She shared her very hard life with me, and I shared God's love with her. This Hope Challenge has already changed my life as well as hers. There are so many hurting people out there.

I have been generously gifted 7 coins from my affiliation with New U Life.
I shared my first coin with one of my clients who over the past 4 years has turned into a friend. I have been seeing both Lisa and her daughter Hailie monthly, for the past 4 years. I have come to know and respect them both. They lead their lives with love, kindness, caring always with a smile and gratitude. I have had the opportunity to mentor Hailie as she went to school to become an Esthetician. I got to see her drive for not giving up and eagerness to learn on many levels always with a smile on her face. I shared with Lisa today that she gave me “Hope” on days she had no idea over the past several years, that she has done one amazing job raising Hailie, and that gives me hope for our future! I am honored to know and be a part of their lives. I always feel better after being in their presence.

I took the leash off my dog and handed it to her to put on the dog when she found her. Turns out this yellow lab is very old with multiple tumors and very long nails. She called her husband who volunteers at the animal shelter here to come and pick up the dog and take it to the animal shelter to check for a microchip. We waited for him a few minutes and help load the old gal in his truck. I had the coin bag in my pocket and gave this sweet lady one for saving this dog.
