Tell us how you received your Hope Coin

I received a bag of coins from my company.

Tell us about the kind act you did to give your Hope Coin away

This is not something I would have posted or talked about because it was done out of love which meant it needed no recognition. That being said my act of kindness was to help my best friend keep her best friend (her beautiful Trixie) alive and well. I have not always been able to do things like this, I’ve been in the position where I’ve had to make really tough decisions and now that I’ve been abundantly blessed it’s time to bless others. That does not always mean with money, there are so many ways to be a hope warrior and I am ho ores to be among all of them.

I feel it’s important to share this story and worth the read. I’m a very private person and don’t share my business, but this needs to be known. If you follow my page, you know that my dog Trixie is the absolute love of my life. She has been with me through the best and worst times of my life and I can’t imagine my life without her. This past Monday at 4p she fell down my stairs from the top step. She had lost her balance and went down the entire flight and hit every step until she fell to the bottom and hit head against the baseboard. She was stiff as a nail and went into shock. I immediately took her to an after hours ER and they told me she is paralyzed and if I didn’t have $8k for a surgery, then I should put her down. Needless to say I was inconsolable. This didn’t make sense to me though because her tail was wagging. I made some calls and Tufts University was understaffed and could not take her. I found an outstanding critical care hospital about an hour and a half away. They took her right away and after examining her they said she is not paralyzed, but there could be brain swelling or some sort of disc injury and she needs an MRI. Not being able to afford this visit of $5k because I’ve been out of work for almost a year, I had no choice but to put a deposit down on my credit card. Luckily she didn’t need surgery, but a major course of steroids and lots of time until she can walk again. When Trixie was discharged two days later, I was so excited to get my girl home and rehab her to be able to walk again, but so panicked about the large balance I knew was due. When they brought her out to me, I thanked them so much for their 5 star ⭐️ service and treatment and asked what I owe. They said your balance has been paid by your friend Danelle Verzaro (Rich) and you are all set. In total shock, I started to cry... I’m crying right now while I write this. But wait, there’s more. On my way home, I get a notification that Danelle has sent me a Venmo deposit for the original deposit. She paid Trixie‘s hospital bill so I didn’t have to worry about anything else except to get Trixie back to walking. The NUL company has given people the opportunity to be in a comfortable financial position to do good things and help people who need it. Although I would NEVER ask for help and she knew it, she did it anyway. So Danelle is not only my best friend, she is my Hope Warrior. My gratitude and appreciation runs deep. This is love and friendship at its finest. 🙏♥️.  I’m including some  picks of my sweet girl recovering. Thanks for taking the time to read this. G-d is good. Danelle, I love you so much. Thank you again. 🙏♥️♥️
