My cousin Amie presented me with this hope coin, and it brought me to tears! She praised me for coordinating a Thanksgiving meal for my local Veterans Transitional House and congratulated me for being ¾ of the way done with nursing school! Receiving this hope coin was a very uplifting and tender moment at a very needed moment in my life.
Tomorrow, I am going to deliver this hope coin to my dear friend, Ashley's doorstep and give her an orchid to go alongside it. Ashley is one of my greatest friends whom I've met in nursing school and the world is a better place because of her warm, gentle spirit. She worked alongside me to coordinate the Thanksgiving Meal for our veterans, and I admire her so much for her giving heart!
Received my coin from my step-mom in recognition of being a Covid-19 nurse.
I want to recognize my cousin Danielle for her perseverance and hard work, especially during this last year. She has been in nursing school and her future was uncertain due to COVID, but she has persevered and is almost a Registered Nurse! She is caring and nurturing and raised money AND cooked a Thanksgiving meal for homeless Veterans. I'm proud to call her my cousin!
My company is asking us to spread the love. This is my first coin I am giving away.
My kind act is acknowledging my step daughter who is a front line worker at a hospital during this pandemic. To have to go to war against this illness each day is be on what they signed up for. Thank you for doing what you do.
