From a friend and neighbor.
I overheard a conversation between a woman working in the local convenient store and her friend who was hanging out in the store. The cashier was saying how she always seems to get hungry around 2 p.m. but doesn’t get off work for another couple hours following that. I was going to pick up pizza anyway, so I got some extra slices and returned to the store. I told her to pick the piece she wanted. She had her first piece of Sicilian pizza after going, “Oh, what’s that one?!”
It was a fun experience.
A friend passed it along to me.
A small group of friends from church decided we wanted to bless some of the people in our congregation who don't get out because of COVID. So we made soup and corn bread and then traveled to their homes to deliver the goodies and sing Christmas carols to them. Seeing their faces for the first time in many months blessed us as much as they were blessed by our off-key singing!
I purchased coins to spread kindness.
